I personally prefer my bunnies multiplied and scattered in pattern form rather than one gigantic rabbit mug on the front of my clothing. Also, there's a chance people won't even notice your own face if it's competing with this massive woven beast. Sure it looks warm and cozy, but is the large bunny head a bit too much of a good thing or is it just right?

Cool Vintage Finds - Order of the Elephant

Don't you just love it when you get style inspiration from other bloggers? I've been getting quite a lot lately and this post from the very lovely Sharon Rose (thank you dahling!) about sea life prints is the most recent. Now it wasn't exactly direct inspiration, as today's post has nothing to do with the sea, but it did get me thinking about what other rare and unusual motifs are out there.

When I'm on ebay, I tend look at and save a lot more items that I can ever possibly purchase and then forget about them. I went on the site yesterday and saw that I had saved an elephant print dress because I thought it looked interesting and unusual at the time. So I thought it would be cool to make the elephant motif the theme for today's 'Cool Vintage Finds'.

Not surprisingly, this motif was mostly prevalent during the 60s and 70s when hippies were fascinated with other cultures, largely those from eastern Asia where the elephant is a sacred symbol in many of those countries.

Ebay Spring Trend - Flower with love

Floral print for spring is as cliche as it gets but this season, it's still as hot as ever. The ubiquitous print was seen at various runways including (from left) Marc Jacobs, Oscar De La Renta, Stella McCartney and Ralph Lauren.

Florals can get a bit tricky as too much can get a bit overwhelming, but if kept at a reasonable level, they can be pretty and fun. They can also be a great mix of sexy and playful on dresses that show a little skin. This print is very versatile as it can be done in many ways, on many different types of clothing so you're bound to find something for yourself.

Keeping it short n' sweet!

Is it still cold where you live? Even if it is but you're ready to brave it, you can break out of the winter mode by donning a cute, feminine mini. Just beautiful vintage 50s white cotton hand painted halter sundress & matching bolero jacket! Comes with the matching belt.

Dress measures 34/36" at bust, 26" at waist, full at hips, and waist to hem is 28.

Dress closes at the back with a metal zipper, has a fully boned bodice, and is tagged Alix of Miami.

Fabric is a swirled pink, black & brown abstract design with gold accents.

Halter closes behind the neck with two buttons one of which is missing a rhinestone and dress has a built in white tulle netting slip.

In overall great condition with no rips or tears. Does need a good soak or trip to the cleaners to brighten it up. There is a spot on the skirt shown in the last photo that may lift with proper cleaning.
