I realize I've been posting a lot of colourful stuff lately but I love how wearing bright colours can instantly lift my mood and make me feel more energetic and playful. Put them on a cute dress and I'm bound to be bouncing and skipping all over the place...on the inside.

Cool Vintage Finds - Feeling blue?

The theme for today's Cool Vintage Finds is one of my favourite colours, blue. I remember when I was a lot younger, much like Picasso, I went through a Blue Period; I was practically obsessed with blue. Around the age of four, I loved to play with my colouring books and box of crayons and the first colour that I always reached for was Cerulean.

When I was seven, I had this cute little blue striped shirt that I would always want to wear with everything, and I mean everything. My mother and I often had little arguments with her trying to convince me that blue did not go well with every colour. Luckily, I grew out of that phase but I still have a soft spot for this colour.

Vintage Blue Czech Glass Bracelet

This Art Nouveau style Czech bracelet has beautiful cut steel connectors between each of the dazzling oval blue glass stones. Each stone is faceted and sits in a steel bezel and is held in place with prongs. It is in good condition except for a few flea bites, a small chip in a stone and a broken loop.

Cool Vintage Finds - Go-go Mod

There are many kinds of clothes that I would like to wear but never get the chance to for various reasons. For one, living in Barbados limits the types of clothing I can wear drastically so that I don't end up being burnt alive. Also, I spend probably 99.5% of my time either at college or at home (what a sad existence...), so I don't really go anywhere very often to wear the good stuff, even if I had access to it. Cool Vintage Find - Draped Drama

Cool Vintage Find - Green Leaf Print Dress

I love the oversized leaf print on this mod style dress. It's bright, funky and very cute! The dress has a drop waist bodice and a jewel neckline. It is darted at the bust and there are vertical darts on front and backside. The skirt has large box pleats and dress closes with a back zipper.
