Im a Nerd (or was it Geek) and I say it Proud!

All through Grade 12 (when I was there) in the art room there was a never ending debate on who a nerd is and who is a geek. It seemed that each of us had our own take on it and seeing as non of us got off our butts and walked over to the liberty to wiki it ill do it now.  Oh thoughs' pree-Iphone days (a friends). But first ....I forgot what I was going to say... darn just for laughs. Ok wiki it is. 

Nerd [nɚd] is a term often bearing a derogatory connotation or stereotype, that refers to a person who passionately pursues intellectual activities, esoteric knowledge, or other obscure interests rather than engaging in more social or popular activities. Therefore, a nerd is often excluded from physical activity and considered aloner by peers, or will tend to associate with like-minded people.

And now Geek!

The word geek is a slang term, noting individuals as "a peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is perceived to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, etc."^[1]Formerly, the term referred to a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken, bat, snake or bugs. The 1976 edition of the American Heritage Dictionary included only the definition regarding geek shows.

This word comes from English dialect geek, geck: fool, freak; from Low German geck, from Middle Low German. The root geck still survives in Dutch gek: crazy, and in the Alsatian word Gickeleshut: geek's hat, used in carnivals^[2].

I will do a DC one one day. So as you all know Marvel has really been pushing there comics, movies, tv shows, t-sherts, and whatever ells they can. There next new movie that comes out on may first is X-men Origins. I have Been wondering if he will be mixed into Avengers movies that is bound to be made. So fare we have had Iron man and the halk. Still missing is most of the people who make up the Avengers. IMDB is reporting the release d

ate sometime in 2012. The second Iron man movie in 2010. Now I have been wondering if there is cilvil war undertones in this. Seeing as Tony Stark only comes forward as Iron man at the start to promote others into revealing there Identities. He gets Spider-man also known as Peter Parker to come forward (I think has one of the best spreads of all the books, the look on JJ's face is priceless)... 

I will not go into the back story. So any-who you can see where I would think things could go this way. I'm just waiting to see what is done about Caption America. In civil war they are both leaders of opposite factions. Back to the Avengers, I am curios to see what line up they use. If it will be the founding members (sept. 1963) Thor, Iron Man, Henry Pym (ant man), Wasp the X-wife of Pym and the Hulk. I could see it going that way seeing as there has already been a hulk movie (I like to suppress the memory of 2003). Did you know that Spider-man is part of the Avengers, Not publicly cuz he is Unregistered after all (post cilvil war).  I recommend looking through Spider-man: A brand new day. Where was I? Will there be a crossover with the X-men origins movie? IMDB is saying that there is a Nick Fury movie to come too (2012). But that makes senesce. After all Fury has a past with Wolverine Or should that be the other way? Somehow I think I should stop there seeing as I do not think many people will know what I am talking about. But to make up for the fact I'm posting a short vids that has a Hulk, Spider-man, Iron Man team up agents a Giant robot. Hope you like it.

Rednecks in a good way

These are some redneck pic that I have acquired over the last few week and thought it was about time to share in them. When we think of rednecks you think of one of 2 things. 1) a man with a shogun and a mullet and 2) a guy chasing you down the street in a white robe. (pleas note not all read necks are KKK, there are lots of blue and white collar ones too, makes you fell all worm and fluffy inside.) But Rednecks are also bright people that make use of what they have. So what if you don't have a pool, you have a pickup truck, a tarp and running water your all set (to be honest I have wonted to try this... does that make me a redneck? ) and its mobile too! Bring your own pool to parties. So here are some things that made me laugh, made me think that I kinda wont to try it and just plane silly.

To night I was sent a link to a vid by a sister. She had been watching it and thought I would find it interesting and I did. Now before I converted I did not really read up on Jesus (pbbh). I read the Quran out of order and most likely missed bits. I did plane to be patent and start at the beginning and end at the end but we all know how that trend out. So I never new the finer details. Yes I did know that he was not the sun of God/Allah (I could add all 99 names just to cover my basses...but I am lazy and I do not think anyone would read this then) and yes I did know that marry (bbh) was his mother. But it was the little things. Well I would not call them little but you know what I mean. We will never truly know what happened on that fateful day so there is no use arguing over it (his "death"). We will find out when where dead. To any Atheist that are reading, If your right well ... where dead. Hahaha you can't gloat.... are you really happy now? Ok back to arguing over it. There is no point. Its like arguing over unicorns, It will not get us anywhere and only split us farther apart (though I doubt a debate on unicorns with split people apart, maybe a pirates Vs. ninjas debate but that is another post). So lets agree that we have differences and one day they will come to light, so lets look at what we agree on to start. Like what the two artiness' say at the end. Its fun referencing things that people have but a clue what you are talking about. So here is an interesting movie that will hopefully not start a fight and may teach people things.  ... And its from BBC... I totally did not know till the end when I head that women's voice. I wonder if people on the street stop her and say "Hay are you that BBC voice women that comes on at the end of shows to tell us stuff?". Man the BBC has some good programming. anyhow its movie time running at 46 min and 18 seconds. Take your bathroom brake now. ....waterfalls, streams, rivers, gushing lakes...anything? your good then.

Another BBC Vid. Yes I am being lazy... I will have some more post lined up when I have the patience to sit in front of the computer a type a bit longer then 10 min or so. I was just going to Upload some Black Sabbath, war pigs serca 1970 when you could still understand what he was singing. Its sad that Drugs have taken away so many good singers and proffers. People still talk about the "bat" when ever Ozzy is mentioned. In his defence he thought it was a fake bat and only on that fateful chomp did he release the truth. He soon after received some vary uncomfortable shots for rabies. As my dad told me one day as we were driving, that they hurt like hell seeing as its 12 Long needles that go into the tummy aria of your body. He to had an encounter with a Bat. Though unlike Ozzy he did not bite the bat but the bat bit him. On a side note I once found a bat in the girls toilet in my locale church as a young girl. Not saying I'm not young now... Just younger. They used another Black Sabbath song for the theme of Ironman. Note ably called Iron Man. I would sagest lessening to a older version of the song seeing as at times these days its hard to hear what is being said... well more so then the older version. Yes he was most likely high in the 70's version of the song but he is sadly perma stoned in the latter. Man I can't wate for the next Ironman Movie! I wonder how there going to set up the avengers movies? Ya gota have the Cap. Oh Oh that reminds me! Gambit is in the X-men Wolverines Origins. It was a Huge blow that he did not make it into the other movies. And who the heck thought it would be a good idea to leave out the part that mystic is nightcrawler's mom?! Ya. ... Ok I'm way way off topic. right BBC.... Ah what ever Black Sabbath it is! Enjoy the 1970's rock.

BBC White Girl

This is a movie about a young girl that moves into a new house with her mom, lil brother and sister. There here would changes. Its a good TV movie. Besides the drama that unfolds around her mom and takes the family down roads that could destroy everything that she holds dear she finds something to believe in and brings inner pace. In it I noticed some things that converts go though. Some people have it harder then others. I was lucky that I was not kicked out of my house when I converted like some friends of mine. We all have our trills. One day I hope that my mom will except what I have done. till then bring it on.

Break...

Hey everyone,

I hoped it would not come to this, but unfortunately, it is an unavoidable situation. Due to my upcoming final year show, Fatal Attraction 2 Fashion will be going on hiatus until early May. My focus has to be devoted to this show right now, so I hope you understand my reason for this decision. Thanks everyone for your support thus far and I hope to see most, if not all, of you when I return :)

Fanta~

Ok so its been awhile since I posted OMG (oh my gosh) almost a week. Ehh... what can you do. So I thought I would post about something light and funny. Plus sneak in some of my past. I spent a little bit of time in Japan as a high school student and one thing that I loved to drink besides Oolong was Fanta. I was sad that when I came Back to Canada that I could not get one. Well luck would have it that only a wile latter Fanta would make its north American day-bue (so can't spell that). Now Fanta is readily available .... in most places. :P just need to get Quu now! Quu is an orange drink... may be healthy... not sher. All I know is when I was asked what I liked to drink and said "orange juice" thats what I got. Over all the time I spent in Japan was grate. Though I still think putting a brown cow on a carton is misleading to people. Terns out it was coffee milk... I never did find chocolate milk in the supa.  Here are some funny adds done by Fanta.

Every now and then I see funny signs out side of churches and I wonder why mosques never have them. It would be grate with a little humor braking down some barrios. Like one I saw on Chasers War on Everything (an Australian comedy show) "Don't get Mor-hammered, Get Mo-hammed.". They also did a synagogue too. We need to stand up and stop the monopolization of comedic religious sings. Who's with me? ...right. Well its a start. Hope you like the church signs.
